Composting is good for the Earth
Many of our products are certified compostable. They’ve been proven by third parties to break down into nutrient-rich compost that helps plants grow. It’s a win-win at reducing waste and helping the environment.
Compost is organic material from the decomposition of organic waste and other compostable materials. As the materials break down, microorganisms produce a rich substance called humus, a significant component of compost. It’s a full-circle process, where the compostable materials return to the soil, fertilizing it and helping grow healthy plants.
Many of our products are certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) and the Compost Manufacturing Alliance (CMA). BPI uses the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) specifications combined with lab and material health testing to certify products as compostable. CMA offers a technical review, material health data, and a real-world testing program to determine whether products will compost in a commercial compost facility.
Considering our certifications, you can feel great about using our products, knowing they are good for the earth.
